SMS Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 24, 2026
1. Program Description
Motherboard Labs, Inc. ("Motherboard," "we," "us," or "our") operates an SMS messaging program for the Motherboard Labs platform (the "Program"). The Program sends transactional SMS to field technicians and operations staff at enterprise customers to support work orders, equipment diagnostics, service support, and account notifications. Messages may include work order assignments and updates, diagnostic alerts, service-support coordination, troubleshooting guidance, and account-related notices. The Program does not send marketing or promotional content.
2. Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile phone number for the Motherboard Labs platform and opting in during account activation or onboarding, you expressly consent to receive transactional text messages from Motherboard Labs at that number, including messages sent through an automatic telephone dialing system. These messages relate to work orders, equipment diagnostics, service support, and account notifications. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on technician activity, service-job volume, work order activity, diagnostic requests, service-support requests, and account notifications. Messages are sent in connection with Motherboard Labs workflows initiated by technician, operations staff, or account activity. The Program does not send recurring marketing or promotional messages.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates will apply to all messages sent to or received from Motherboard Labs. Motherboard Labs is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier. Check your mobile plan for details.
5. Opt Out (STOP)
You may cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a single confirmation message and will not send you additional messages through the Program unless you opt back in. You may also opt out by emailing robert@motherboardlabs.com with the phone number you wish to remove.
6. Help (HELP)
For help or additional information, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact us at robert@motherboardlabs.com. Replying HELP will return contact information and instructions for opting out.
7. Supported Carriers
The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket Wireless, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and is outside our control.
8. Privacy and No Sharing of Mobile Numbers
We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared only with subprocessors (such as our messaging platform, Twilio) strictly to deliver the messages you have requested. Our handling of personal information is further described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder, or have the account holder's permission, to enroll in the Program. By opting in, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the mobile number you provide is your own or that you are authorized to enroll it.
10. Changes to the Program
We may modify or terminate the Program, or these terms, at any time, with or without notice. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motherboard Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that messages will be delivered on time, without error, or without interruption.
